Fletcher Hills Elementary School is located at 2330 Center Place. Northmont Elementary is located at 9405 Gregory Street. Both schools are part of the La Mesa Spring Valley School District. Both are public schools that serve grade levels K – 5. These schools consistently rank high among grade schools due to the excellent staff and high parent participation.
Flying Hills elementary School is part of the Cajon Valley Union District, and is located at 1251 Finch Street, El Cajon. This is a FAME (Fine Arts Magnet) school with exemplary academic opportunities and is best known for theater, drama, community service and dance.
Parkway Middle School – Home of the Patriots – has an exceptional academic program and divides its student population into 4 groups – Earth, Fire, Water and Wind. The students remain with their assigned group of peers and teachers throughout their middle school years. Located at 9009 Park Plaza Drive in La Mesa.
Grossmont High School was established in 1921 on 14 acres atop Murray Hill summit. (1100 Murray Drive in El Cajon) The school received the 2009 California Distinguished Schools Award for outstanding academic achievement
The Fletcher Hills Kiwanis are a fun loving group of local men and women who meet Saturday mornings at the Fletcher Hills Denny's restaurant. They support the local schools and various youth organizations. The club’s goal is to help the community and serve the children of our world.
